My eyes are bigger than my stomach.

And that’s why here in America, children are taught the importance of breakfast and how one should never skip that meal.

Because breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, my eyes sometimes become bigger than my stomach. I can't finish all my food. And I think it’s because I just love all the selection of American breakfast food. There are cereal, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, pancakes, fruits and much more!

Well, I spoke with Esther and I found out that her eyes also become bigger than her stomach sometimes.

늘의 영어 표현은 my eyes are bigger than my stomach 입니다. Listen carefully!

Jen: Have you ever had your eyes bigger than your stomach for breakfast?
Esther: Absolutely! I’ve often taken much more than I can actually eat.
Jen: What do you usually eat for breakfast? Do you eat a big breakfast?

Esther: I always eat breakfast because I know it’s the most important meal that you eat every day. And also, I like to maintain my weight, so I do eat breakfast. I have either oatmeal with milk and raisin and no sugar or maybe some kind of organic granola cereal.
Jen: Oh! You’re making me hungry!

Have you ever had your eyes bigger than your stomach for breakfast?’ Absolutely!
