It may mean that they need to get organized with class schedules, buy textbooks, or locate their classrooms so that they don’t get lost on the first day, and other tasks as well.

I bumped into Madison on campus. 매디슨은 Political Communications 정치 커뮤니케이션을 전공하는 freshman 입니다. Freshman은 대학교 1학년이죠?

Jen: What are you ladies doing to prepare for class that starts real soon? What are you guys doing?
Madison: I am primarily trying to get all of my stuff organized and make sure that I know my schedule and where all my classes are and everything so that when school starts, I’m ready to go.
