Let’s go ahead and listen to a conversation I had with Eunice at a gift shop where I bought a present for my family.

제가 얼마 전 가족에게 줄 선물을 사기 위해 Gift shop 선물 가게에 갔는데요, 그곳에서 가게 점원인 Eunice와 나눈 대화 내용을 들어보시겠습니다.

Eunice: For both of these, in black or in another color? I can do one in red and the other in green.
Jen: Okay. Would it be okay if you do like red green red, or green red green?
Eunice: Yes, I can do that.

Jusk like I mentioned in the beginning, I bought a present for my family and the store associate asked me if I wanted to get it personalized, meaning, get their names engraved on the gift.

제가 가게에서 선물를 샀는데요, 선물에 글씨를 새겨준다고 하더라고요. I thought it was a wonderful idea so I went ahead and asked Eunice if I can have the name engraved in specific colors.

정말 뜻깊은 선물이 될 것 같아서, 그렇게 해달라고 했더니, 점원이 “do you want these in black or in another color?” 글씨를 검정색으로 새겨 줄까요, 아니면 다른 색으로 새겨 줄까요, 하고 물어보더라고요.
