To check out / to check out something 입니다.

In America, we have something called “Take Our Children to Work Day.”

Kids get a day off from school and get to follow their mom or dad around at work.

To check out / to check out something 이죠. Listen carefully!

Jen: So it’s bring your kids to work day, who do you have with you?
Dave: This is my daughter Rachel and her friend Casey.

Jen: What are they doing for today? What do you guys have planned?
Rachel & Casey: Umm…not sure!

Jen: Aww…they said not sure. Do you know?
Dave: Yes, they have been on tours and checked out the studios and the radio studios and do some writings and stuff like that.

It was so refreshing to see kids in the hallways and lobby of Voice of America.

When I asked what activities they have done or are planning to do, Dave는 ‘they have been on tours and checked out the studios’라고 했죠?
