* “How many people are in your party?”라는 말에서 ‘are’를 생략한 것입니다. 더 줄여서 “How many in your party?”라고도 합니다. (의미를 분명하게 하기 위해 ‘including you’라는 말을 끝에 붙일 수도 있지만, 그 말이 없더라도 본인을 포함한 인원을 말합니다.)
* 만일, “How many people are with you in your party?”라고 물어본다면 “당신과 같이 있는 일행은 몇 분이세요?” (당신을 제외한 나머지 사람들의 수)
